Thailand - The Peaceable Kingdom

Back in 1939, the Kingdom of Siam changed its name to Thailand, which means "The Land of the Free". While the king is still there, and generally popular, the government is now a constitutional monarchy. The country is one of the most beautiful and interesting in all of Asia, and certainly one of the most pleasant family holiday.

Bangkok, the capital of Thailand is one of the busiest and most modern airports in the world and serves as a gateway to the wonders of the restof the country. For a family or a group visit on holidays, almost every location is easily accessible and offers accommodations ranging from rustic to luxurious.

Outside of Bangkok, in the southwest of Thailand, Phuket, the number one tourist destination is tailored with a well-established tourist industry and numerous hotels, resorts and private housing to meet the needs of families. The coast is dotted with caves, bays and wild tropical islands, and is a center for boat andSailing.

Farther south, Krabi is still a relatively unspoilt area where you are hopping on some of the approximately 200 small islands off the coast, many of which can go, unpopulated. Exploring the possibilities for diving, snorkeling, and the city will have no limits, because the water is clean, flat, and incredibly welcoming.

Under the tropical resort island of Koh Samui in the Gulf of Thailand is the ultimate "blue sky, blue sea, white sand, green mountain" scenario. Koh Samui isamong the best places for luxury resorts and tropical lifestyle in a big way. The many smaller islands nearby also offer unprecedented spread delicacies for snorkeling and diving aficionados.

The oldest and perhaps the most peaceful and relaxing tourist area is Hua Hin, where the bustle and night life of other resorts is dumb, and you can a Chevy from a roadside businesses (near the Burger King and Starbucks!) Rents and make your own tour.
